True to my obsessive, compulsive behaviour, I rushed to the library after I purchased my new CHANEL to learn anything and everything about Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel. I left there with three books in tow and am currently riveted on her life story. So far, I have learned that she grew up in an orphanage run by Catholic sisters and that she conjured up stories about her childhood to make it look more glamorous. What a fascinating woman and I can't wait to learn more about how she built her Fashion Empire.
